Welcome to Adageo! We're a social music discovery platform that helps you explore music from around the world, share your favorite songs, and connect with music lovers everywhere.

This Privacy Policy explains how SIM SAS ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Adageo mobile application. By using Adageo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information You Provide

• Account: Email, username, password (encrypted), bio, country, favorite genres
• Profile: Avatar/profile picture
• Posts: Songs, captions, descriptions, text content
• Photos: Images you attach to posts
• Messages: Direct messages (text, songs, photos) sent to other users
• Interactions: Likes, saves, follows, chest discoveries

1.2. Location Information

We only collect location when you're actively using the app (not in background).

• Exact Location: Precise GPS when you choose "exact" for posts
• Approximate: General area when you choose "approximate"
• Country Only: Just country when you choose that option
• Map Browsing: Current location to show nearby discoveries

1.3. Music Data

• Songs you search, share, and preview
• Treasure chest discoveries (song, rarity, timestamp)
• Apple Music API interactions (we don't access your personal library)

1.4. Device & Usage

• Device model, OS version, identifiers
• Crash logs and diagnostics
• App usage analytics (features used, time spent)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Display posts on the map at your chosen location
• Show nearby music discoveries
• Enable following, messaging, likes, and saves
• Track treasure chest collections
• Search songs via Apple Music API
• Provide 30-second previews
• Personalize your experience
• Improve app performance and features
• Detect spam, abuse, and violations
• Respond to support requests

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1. Public to Other Users

• Username, avatar, bio, country
• Posts (songs, captions, photos, locations you choose)
• Follower/following lists
• Treasure discoveries (in your profile)

3.2. Direct Sharing

• Messages sent to specific users
• Activity on posts (likes, saves)

3.3. Service Providers

• Apple Music API: Song searches (Apple's privacy policy applies)
• Cloud Hosting: Secure storage of photos, posts, messages
• Analytics: Aggregate usage data (anonymized)

3.4. Legal Requirements

We may share if required by law: court orders, legal processes, emergencies, or to protect rights and safety.

3.5. What We DON'T Do

• ❌ Sell your personal data
• ❌ Share exact location with advertisers
• ❌ Access your Apple Music library
• ❌ Read messages for ads

4. Your Rights and Choices

4.1. Account Controls

• Edit profile anytime
• Choose location privacy per post (exact/approximate/country)
• Delete posts
• Block users
• Unfollow users

4.2. Device Permissions

iOS Settings → Adageo:

• Location: Never / While Using
• Photos: None / Selected / All
• Camera: On / Off

4.3. Delete Account

Profile → Settings → Delete Account

Permanently deletes: Profile, posts, messages, likes, saves, follows, discoveries (within 30 days).

4.4. Data Rights (GDPR)

EU/UK users can request:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data
• Export data (portable format)
• Object to processing

5. Data Security

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for data transmission
• Passwords hashed and salted
• Secure cloud storage with access controls
• Regular security audits

Note: No system is 100% secure, but we implement industry-standard protections.

6. Children's Privacy

Adageo is for users 13+. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If under 18, get parental permission.

If we learn a child under 13 has an account, we'll delete it immediately. Report to: soporte@adageo.app

7. International Transfers

Adageo operates from Colombia (SIM SAS). Your data may be stored/processed in Colombia or where our providers operate. We ensure adequate safeguards comply with GDPR.

8. Data Retention

• Active Account: We keep your data while active
• After Deletion: Removed within 30 days (backups up to 90 days)
• Location: We don't track movement history, only individual post locations

9. Updates to Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app. Continued use = acceptance.

10. Third-Party Services

Apple Music

We use Apple Music API for searches and 30-sec previews. Apple's privacy policy applies. We display "Powered by Apple Music" and "Listen in Apple Music" links as required.

11. California Privacy (CCPA)

California residents have rights to:

• Know what data we collect
• Delete your data (use account deletion)
• Opt-out of sale (we don't sell data)
